Your notebook stays on your device. Here is everything else.

Keepr has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising pixel. This page lists, plainly, what the site keeps in your browser, the few things that reach our servers, and what never does. It applies to keepr.pet and to the Keepr app installed from the site or from an app store.

What stays in your browser, and only there

• My animals. The animals you record, their meals, weights and notes live in your browser's storage. They are never sent to us. Clear your browser data and they are gone; we cannot restore them because we never had them.
• Watchlist. The species you follow, as a list of species names.
• Continue reading. The last eight species sheets you opened, so the library can offer them back.
• Your settings. Language, contrast, whether the clock is shown on the globe.

The app works offline for the sheets you have already opened and for your notebook. That offline copy also lives only on your device.

What reaches our servers

• Page requests. Like any website, our host (Cloudflare) sees the pages you request and your network address while serving them. We do not build profiles from this.
• One event when you follow a species. When you tap Follow on a sheet, the site sends the species name and the country your connection appears to come from. No name, no city, no address, no list of what else you follow. It lets us see which species people in a region want, so a local shop or breeder can be told. A short-lived hashed fingerprint stops one person from counting a hundred times; it is not kept as an address.
• One count when you open a professional's profile on the globe (a shop, a vet, a breeder). It tells that professional how many times their profile was opened. Nothing about you is attached to it.
• What you type into a form. The Market pre-registration form asks professionals for a business name, a contact, a city and a country. We keep it to reach you back about your storefront, and for nothing else.

What we never do

• No account, no login, no password.
• No cookies. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel of any kind.
• No selling, renting or sharing of anything above with anyone.
• No reading of your notebook. It never leaves your device, so we could not read it if we wanted to.

Photographs

Species photographs are published with the name of the person who took them, on the sheet where they appear. If one of them is yours and you want it credited differently or removed, write to us through the pre-registration form on the Market page and say so in the note; it reaches the same people.

Children

Keepr is a reference on animal husbandry and is not directed at children under 13. Since nothing personal is collected, nothing is collected from children either.
