Common questions

Can it live in Bangkok?

It comes from cool mountain forest, so it needs a genuinely cool, airy room. Most Bangkok flats are too warm without air conditioning.

Can I hold it?

Better not. Handling stresses chameleons, so let it walk onto your hand only when you need to move it.

Are the horns dangerous?

No. Only the males have them and they are for pushing rival males, not for defending against people.

Does it need special equipment?

A tall mesh cage, live plants, a dripper or misting system for drinking, and UV lighting. It will not drink from a bowl.
