Does it make noise?
Yes, it squeaks or screams when grabbed. That alone is a good reason to leave it alone.
Can I handle it?
Best avoided. They are shy and stress easily. A watch-only animal.
Will I see it?
They hide a great deal. Use a damp planted setup with lots of cover and watch quietly at feeding time.
Can I keep two together?
One male with one or two females works. Two males will fight.
