Honestly yes. An adult is powerful, with a serious bite, strong claws and a painful tail whip. Not a starter lizard.

How big does it get?

1.5 to 2 metres and heavy. It needs a custom room-sized enclosure, not furniture-sized.

Many become genuinely calm with daily work from a young age, but at this size mistakes are expensive.
