Yes, it is semi-arboreal. Give it low branches and cork as well as ground cover and hides.

This species is often a slow, irregular feeder, and imported animals can take a long time to settle. Patience and a quiet enclosure help more than anything.

Small, generally under a metre, and it stays fairly slender compared to the viper boa.
